Week of 2/26

Greetings 4th Grade Families,

Grades: This week we are finishing our Civil War Care Package Projects and presenting them to the class. Although graded, Gradespeed will not let me enter grades yet for the new six weeks. Please look for graded rubrics sent home this Wednesday. I will enter into GradeSpeed as soon as the system allows.

Black History Month: We are a little behind on our timeline and are starting our Black History Month Projects today. Students will be assigned a person of significance to research. They will have two class days to research and one day to create a poster representing the information. Students are provided a book resource, in class, as well as access to computers and links. Please see link under "Student Resources" for more details. This is an at school project and there should not be any additional work to be completed at home.

Independent Project: Next week we will be using our IP research to write our research paper. Please touch base with your child and make sure they have completed their research and are ready for Monday. They should also be working on their visual and oral projects at home. Their rubric and instructions were given by Ms. Evans and Ms. B.
